TechRx Study Co grew out of a 13-week Pharmacy Technician Certification Preparation Program built and taught in person at a workforce training center attached to a community college. That program takes technicians from no experience to exam-ready, covering the same content areas national certification exams test.

This site exists because employers kept running into the same problem the in-person program was built to solve — just without any way to send their own hires through it. TechRx Study Co licenses that same curriculum directly to employers, so any technician can work through it on their own schedule, wherever they're hired.

What "instructor-built" actually means here

  • Material is written by someone who prepares students for the same national exams, in person, every term
  • Content gets refined against real student results, not just written once and left alone
  • Nothing is repackaged from a single old exam or generic public question set
Why employers, not students, directly

Because the person paying for training and the person who needs it are usually different people.

In states without a mandated technician training program, it's the employer who ends up responsible for getting a new hire from "just started" to "nationally certified" — often on a deadline tied to licensing. TechRx Study Co is built for that employer, not for a technician shopping for study guides on their own.
